Residents are welcome to use the public areas, namely all the trails, beaches, parks and playgrounds. Trails are designed for pedestrians and bicycles not ATVs or other motorized vehicles.
The RM of Loreburn can be contacted for access to playgrounds outside the Bays on Diefenbaker development.
There is good cell reception in our area of Lake Diefenbaker.
The lots are connected to the power grid by underground lines. Each one comes with a pedestal and meter. Contact SaskPower (306) 310-2220 or visit www.SaskPower.com to schedule your electrical connection and for any service issues.
We are in the process of securing potable water through SaskWater and the Line 19 Distribution Group. Contact us at (306) 313-1151 or AJ@lakeshorebays.ca to schedule your water meter hookup. Hookup fees are the responsibility of the lot owner.
You can get high-speed internet at The Bays on Diefenbaker. We have partnered with Access Communications to provide internet services. Other providers include SaskTel, Starlink, and Wood River Controls.
Loraas provides recycling and garbage bins. The garbage bins for household garbage only and not things like trees, grass and construction materials. The recycling bins are for tin cans, aluminum cans, plastics, paper and cardboard.

Every lot will be issued three identifiers: lot number, street address and parcel number. You can use this information to secure a mailbox with Canada Post in Elbow.
The lots do not come with a septic tank. The purchase and installation are the responsibility of the lot owner. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) mandates that it be 1,000 gallons. There are a number of competent local contractors to choose from.
The RM of Loreburn requires a septic pump out at the roadway. For pump out service, you may choose from several local service providers.
Street maintenance and snow removal will be supplied by the RM of Loreburn # 254. Please contact the RM of Loreburn (306) 644-2022 to report snow and/or drainage issues.
Driveway construction and maintenance including any drainage culverts that may be necessary is the responsibility of the lot owner.
Street parking is strictly forbidden.
Lakefront lots owners can apply for docks and boat lifts with the Crown Lands (Agriculture) and Water Security Agency (WSA).
